ABOUT THE APP

Movie Audition is a platform that connects actors with casting directors.
Actors can browse open auditions, submit videos, and track their application
status. Casting directors can post movies, define character roles, and manage
submissions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How do I create an account?
A: Open the app, tap "Register", enter your name, email, and select your role
(Actor or Casting Director). You will receive an OTP on your email to verify
your account.
Q: I did not receive my OTP. What should I do?
A: Check your spam/junk folder. If still not received, wait 2 minutes and
request a new OTP. Make sure you entered the correct email address.
Q: How do I submit an audition?
A: Browse the Movies section, tap on a movie, select the character role you
want to apply for, fill in your details, upload your audition video, and
tap Submit.
Q: What video formats are supported for audition uploads?
A: The app supports standard video formats including MP4, MOV, and AVI.
We recommend keeping your video under 100MB for faster uploads.
Q: How do I know if my audition was accepted?
A: Go to "My Auditions" in the app. Each audition shows a status:
Pending, Viewed, Accepted, or Rejected.
Q: I am a Casting Director. How do I post a movie?
A: After logging in, go to your profile and tap "Add Movie". Fill in the
movie details, add character roles, and publish. A publishing fee may
apply via Razorpay.
Q: Why is payment required to publish?
A: A small platform fee is charged to publish movies or auditions. This
helps maintain the platform and ensures quality listings. Payment is
processed securely via Razorpay.
Q: My payment failed. Was I charged?
A: If the payment failed, you were not charged. You can retry the payment
or save your movie/audition as a draft and pay later.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove
your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: Go to Profile → Change Password. Enter your current password and set a
new one.
Q: I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
A: On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password". Enter your registered email
and follow the OTP verification steps to set a new password.
Q: Can I edit my audition after submitting?
A: Yes. Go to "My Auditions", tap on the audition you want to edit, and
update your details or upload a new video.
Q: The app is crashing or not loading. What should I do?
A: Try the following steps:
1. Close and reopen the app.
2. Check your internet connection.
3. Update the app to the latest version from the App Store.
4. Restart your device.
